100% of the Prayers Never Prayed...

Mark Batterson wrote in The Circle Maker "100 percent of the prayers never prayed, will never be answered."

I hope you are enjoying reading The Circle Maker and studying the incredible stories and miracles in the Bible because people prayed. What a powerful study on prayer.

Just a few thoughts on the last few weeks, since we have discussed prayer during our services:

* God loves bold prayers

* Pray boldly but humbly

* Pray persistently

* Pray expectantly

I want to challenge you to study the prayers and bold actions of Elijah, who the Bible says was just like us! As we prepare for the biggest, boldest vision challenge in 15 years this weekend, it would be great to not only bathe this weekend in prayer and to read these bold prayers and bold actions of Elijah! Then ask God boldly what He would have you to do and pray for others as they have an opportunity to "Be the Drop" and "Love Cities, Love Pastors."

I Kings 18:41-46

James 5:17-18

Never stop praying, never give up! Pray bold prayers, pray humbly and pray with expectancy!

Thank you for being my Prayer Partner. I am asking you to go boldly to God this week and ask HIM to move on our Oasis family to give us a miracle and the pledges to be able to see a new Hollywood Campus, pastoral retreat house, new partners and new churches in Detroit.

God bless you,

Guy Melton

Pastor

Oasis Church of South Florida
