'50,000 Reasons to Pray' this Christmas season. There is no more important person than YOU who are my Pastor's Prayer Partner. I hope you do not take your ministry role for granted. I do not. I depend on you to keep the lines of heaven busy with petitions on behalf of this dear church and the families in need.
Our social media tag line this month is #50KReasons The meaning being that up to 50,000 people will see our lights this year. That does not include the thousands who will drive by but not come in the property. We meet those types every-night and they tell us they have driven by for years but not ever come in. I think most think its too expensive, ha!
The apostle Paul said in Ephesians 6:19-20, "And don’t forget to pray for me. Pray that I’ll know what to say and have the courage to say it at the right time, telling the mystery to one and all..."
Our Prayer this month for our Christmas at the Oasis is the same. May we in everything we say and do make the mystery of the Birth of Christ and His gift of eternal life, clear and compelling.
Just last week alone our Facebook page touched over 43,000 people and almost 4,000 interacted on it. That is beyond my comprehension. To think that on this little piece of Property in Pembroke Pines and North Miami, this many people can be reached in one week. This does not included the thousands, which is impossible to gauge, that have seen our pictures and each Oasis'ers' posts on Social media. I would not be surprised it, it topped 100,000 and that is not an exaggeration. It is amazing the grace and favor God has pour out on Oasis Church during this Christmas season.
I don't even have the space here to tell you the amazing stories of people we have already met in the first weekend.
But my request today is that you will saturate our Christmas display, our new Sermon series, "Midnight Clear" and our services this month in prayer. Please make a commitment that every-time you pray you will pray for Oasis, its staff, volunteers and all the guests who come through our doors at both campuses. Please pray. Prayer is the power of what happens at Oasis. We need your prayers. 20+ adults accepted Christ at the altar on our Pines campus last weekend. It was a direct result of your prayers and the Word of God being preached. Simple enough that an adult can understand... that is what Paul's prayer was in Ephesians. And today that is my prayer also.
Thank you so much for being my prayer partner in this journey and during this exciting Month of Christmas at the Oasis.
I love you guys. See you this weekend, or better yet, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at the Light Display.
