579 Boxes of Crayons collected for China!

Thank you kids and families for bringing in so many crayons!! We were able to donate 579 boxes to the organization, Coloring Away Pain, for delivery to the smallest victims of the Earthquake in China. They will be distributed along with coloring books entitled, “The Day the Earth Shook”, which will help the children process their feelings regarding the natural disaster that took place. Special thanks to Ms. Carol’s Class and Mr. Eric’s class who went above and beyond to collect the most crayons!!

For families who purchased crayons, but were unable to turn them in by the July 12th deadline – Sheridan House Ministries is starting a school supply collection this week! Bring your crayons to church and donate them to local kids in need by dropping them in the Sheridan House collection box located in our church lobby. Thanks again for your generous spirit!
