Baptism At Any Age

This Sunday at North Miami we will have the priviledge of baptising a few people who have trusted in Jesus as their savior. Among them is David Williams.

David is a faithful attender and soon-to-be-member of Oasis Church in North Miami. He is already part of our family and he is already a Christ-follower. This is his next step on that journey!

What makes David unique is that David remembers attending the First Baptist Church of North Miami—the church we merged with last year—as a teenager. Thing is, David is now 75 years old! He attended in the 1940’s!

This reminds me of Pauls words to the Philippians…

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

I’m excited to watch David proclaim publicly his faith this weekend immediately following our 11 AM service.
