Christmas at the Oasis 2009 Recap

What a wonderful season we had this year at Christmas at the Oasis. We had thousands of people who came on our property who enjoyed our lights, Christmas music, Crèche displays, Live Nativity, Charlie Brown Christmas movie, Christmas radio station, and refreshments. There were countless families who attended for the very first time. We had a total count of 35,627 people who attended Christmas at the Oasis this year. There were 9,853 total cars that came through to see our lights. The weather was awesome. It was one of the best months I have seen in four years where the weather cooperated during December. We had only 2 days that we did not open because of weather. Thank you Lord for that blessing!

The Community Groups and Church volunteers that came out to volunteer for the parking lot, Winter Wonderland, Crèche display, refreshments, and repairing lights was great. Thank you so much for all your service. We had many volunteers that came from our Hollywood and North Miami campus came to participate in Christmas at the Oasis. We even had a group of people come up to see Christmas at the Oasis from our North Miami campus.

In the last two weeks we have had countless families and individuals visit our services because of our Christmas at the Oasis. Thank you once again for all those who participated to make Christmas at the Oasis such a success.
