Christmas Work Night Has A Special Spot Just for YOU!!!
95 days ago by James Brown
They marked on their Connection Card that they learned of Oasis Church through our Christmas Lights! As they drove down Flamingo Road the warm glow of our colorful Christmas lights caught their attention, and they came to visit as a result.
Other people have commented on how our Christmas lights make their holiday seem so much brighter and they look forward to bringing their friends and family to our drive-thru display.
If someone asks you where you go to church and you tell them Oasis Church on Flamingo Road, indefinitely someone will say, “Oh that’s the church with all the Christmas lights!”
We have a wonderful tradition of lighting up our campus and our neighborhood with our Christmas at the Oasis light display, and YOU can play a huge part in the Christmas gift we offer to our community each year.
Every Tuesday and Thursday night between 6 and 10 p.m. Pastor James Brown (affectionately known as Pastor Christmas), holds a Christmas work night in the Surge Building at the far east end of our campus. There are tons of tasks needed to be done to prepare for Christmas. Each of us needs a ministry where we can serve the Lord. You may not be able to sing a solo, but you can come help replace burned out lights on our hundreds of light displays!! You may not have a desire to serve in the Tech ministry, but you can be an enormous help in repairing strings of lights. You may not think you have the patience to work with children in our Children’s Ministry, but you might find that testing strings of lights is right up your alley! You don’t need to have experience or training…all you need is a heart willing to serve! You don’t even need to make a long-term commitment. Just come out and give it a try and see if you don’t have a great time working together with a group of amazing people. We’ll teach you everything you need to know and provide all the materials you will need PLUS we will provide you dinner for the evening as a bonus!!
Come out any Tuesday or Thursday night at 6 p.m. in the SURGE building. We’ll find a special spot just for you!
