Couples Need To Get Out & Just Chill!

It’s sad when couples attend a church and feel like they don’t know anyone or connect with anyone when there are many opportunities to build casual friendships.

Yet, despite the opportunities for couples to connect they keep themselves isolated and bored in their church experience. We know they have their reasons, but God is constantly calling us to grow and become healthier spiritually, emotionally and socially.

Proverbs 18:24 “A man that has friends must show himself friendly….”

Such places to form friendships can be through Oasis community groups, ministry projects (i.e. KidsWorld, youth, etc) and these once or bi-monthly Couples Hangouts the NoMi campus is sponsoring.

A few couples from the NoMi campus got tired of having a Christianity that doesn’t get out and have fun with people at church in a righteous, but non-legalistic way. If you are at this point leave the kids with a baby sitter and join us. Laugh, relax and have fun as a couple with other couples. It’s good for the soul! Be in the world, but not of the world!
