Friday 7NOW Update 8/1

I filled in as Host Pastor Friday night for our 7 Nights of Worship. Fish Figueroa was out of town with Sheridan House Ministries Summer Camp in Colorado. It’s been a while since I have been to the Friday night service. We decided last week after trying out the Community Cafe for the meeting place to do it the rest of the summer. The pic below was taken while the Praise team and band was practicing for tonight.

Tonight was amazing. I am just always surprised at the incredible spirit. Our folks in our smaller nights love the more intimate atmosphere of the Community Cafe/Kona. It has such a great feel. James Payne and his Worship Band and singers did a very good job adjusting to the smaller venue.

As I have found at every one of the three nights I have attended this week, there were first time guests. Tonight was no different. Several of our attenders had invited and brought their friends with them.

There was a wicked looking sky and ugly thunder, rain and lightning minutes before the service began but it was still well attended.

John Adams, our Kona Manager, and director of our facilities set up and his team did a good job of serving up some incredible coffee drinks and frappuccinos.

JOHN DEVELOPED HIS OWN FRAPPUCCINO JUST FOR OUR KONA CAFE!!! HE MADE ME ONE AND IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE BEST FRAP EVER!!!

YOU HAVE TO TRY IT OUT NEXT TIME YOU’RE AT CHURCH. IT’S CALLED THE RED HOT FRAPPUCCINO!!! It’s made of Red Hots mixed into the drink and whipped cream on top. You’re talking about half the cost of Starbucks and you wont find the Red Hot Frap anywhere but our own Kona!! All for about $2. And Kona now offers low fat, non-fat and soy milk. TELL THE PERSON AT KONA WHEN YOU ORDER THE RED HOT, YOU READ ABOUT IT ON MY BLOG AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER .50 CENTS OFF!!! HOWS THAT FOR A DEAL?

OH DID I TELL YOU THERE IS FREE WIFI AT KONA?? ANY SERVICE ANY NIGHT OR WEEKEND!
