Harleys, Private Eyes, Babies, and Prayer

What a great weekend at NoMi (Oasis Church North Miami)! Lots of folks arrived early. The time change helped. The spirit was excellent. Jimmy and team did a fantastic job leading us in worship.

We had several guests who seemed very comfortable. I met 4 or 5 people and got to speak with them personally before the service. One guy is a Private Investigator! Another one rides a Harley. I guess I’m not the coolest guy in NoMi anymore.

This weekend we had a chance to help Gigi who is providing care to a 7-month-old whose mother has hit hard times. We swiped some wet wipes and diapers from KidsWorld and gave Gigi some money to get baby formula. Way to go Gigi!

Pastor Guy spoke on prayer! He connected really well and many people committed to become part of the Inner Circle prayer team at North Miami. Now we just have to figure out what that team will do and when it will meet. More on that at our Strategy 4NoMi Sunday, November 30th!

Next weekend Pastor Ben (Campus Pastor in Hollywood) will tell us why we need to “Stop Dating the Church!”. We also have Ernest back from Haiti and he’ll give us an update on his work there over the course of 30 days!
