My Plan Or God's Plan?

As the KidsWorld Coordinator on the North Miami Campus, my role can sometimes be quite challenging! We have a small core of very devoted volunteers, but we have several classes that still need permanent teachers. So, each week I struggle with whether or not we will have enough volunteers to open all the classrooms. This past Sunday was no different. I started out the day knowing that I was short two teachers. By 9 a.m., I received a call telling me that two of my regular volunteers would be absent. So, I left for church unsure of what I was going to do. When I arrived at church, I met Jhael, our Campus Pastor’s wife, and began to share my woes. She said, “Let’s pray!”.

After we prayed, I set out to fill my empty spots. By 10 a.m., I had two teachers to cover one class and was working on the rest, when one of my absent teachers showed up! After a little arranging, everything worked out just fine. I say all this to show that God is in control and has a plan if we will just depend on Him and let Him be in control.
