Welcome Our New NoMi Campus Pastor

Last week Pastor Jack Hakimian shared his story and his call to ministry with our Hollywood and North Miami Campuses.

This week he shared the same message with the 5 weekend services at our Pines Campus.

Jack’s message really connected with the people of all three campuses. It was fantastic to hear and see the responses during the message as well as to hear the buzz after each service.

Jack will be Co-Campus Pastor in North Miami with me (Kevin McCord) for the summer of 2009. During that time I will be helping him get to know the wonderful people that make up our church and assisting him in his orientation to Oasis Church as a whole.

For my part I’m excited to step down in the Fall as Interim Campus Pastor to become one of the leaders at our NoMi Campus supporting Jack. Rarely does a plan work as we think it might, but in this case Pastor Guy Melton and I had prayed for a family man who would make North Miami his home, who would love Oasis Church, and who had a special calling to work in Dade County among diverse groups of people. Praise the Lord that our prayer was answered!
