NoMi Welcomes Interim Campus Pastor

As most of you are aware, last weekend we said goodbye to Jeremy Higdon, our Campus Pastor at NoMi, and his family. They are now in Jacksonville beginning their new life and ministry there. Jeremy begins this week laying the foundation of a new church, Oasis North Florida.

Kevin McCord will now assume the role as Campus Pastor at NoMi. Kevin, our Administrative Pastor, will serve as the interim Campus Pastor until God fills that position with His permanent Pastor. Kevin was the one who led the merger of Oasis Church with the good folks who were there as the First Baptist Church of North Miami. He knows the new attenders and the ones who have been there for decades. Kevin has not lost his love for North Miami and the people of NoMi even though he hasn’t been involved officially the last year.

He will lead NoMi while continuing his role as Admin. Pastor. We are working to move some of his responsibilities to others. So pray for us in that area. Pray for Kevin and Suzie who are both so talented and do such a good job at leading in so many ways. Pray for the Oasis Church members at NoMi during this time. They will not be sitting still, I can assure you that.
