Our Kids and Youth Ministries joined efforts for Coram Dio - an 'It's About Kids' Mission

I am still in awe of the way our Father in Heaven works. He lets us see His hand through the hearts of teens and kids at Oasis Church who raised $1500 for building materials. These funds will go to make the school/home, from It’s About Kids in Misahualli – in the jungle of Ecuador, a reality. They call it ‘Coram Dio’ or ‘In the Face of God’.

A big part of this $1500 comes from fundraisers that our teenagers have done since the beginning of this year and close to $505, to be exact, raised in this past week alone from the penny drive from Crocodile Dock/KidsWorld!! The kids did a boys vs. girls competition all week long for who could bring in the most pennies!

Just to give you an idea of the need of such a school, I want to share with you the latest entry in the Coram Dio journal that came to us on June 9 – two days into our Crocodile Dock:

Every time I read one these entries, I get so encouraged to know that there are so many godly people out there (like Charmai and Roberto Davalos who are part of Ron Stiff’s team) who truly are giving not only a part, but their entire lives, to bring Christ to the lost and “the least of these”.

I’m also so humbled to see how our Father, who knows and sees every need, connects these hearts already His, on this side of the globe, to these children’s hearts who are in such desperate need of God, above all else!!

Thanks to every teen/kid who participated!!! You are amazing!
