It’s so exciting to see what’s going on down in NoMi. Over 300 people have come out since Friday morning to volunteer their time to help us refresh North Miami. Check out this video from Friday & Saturday and this music video with more footage. Read more on Pastor Guy’s blog and see pictures here.
If you have time, we still need more people to come out and help us! There is still more work to be done. Come any time from now until Friday afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there!
Don’t forget about the Yard Sale and Block Party THIS Saturday, March 15 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Come and buy, sell, and have a great time with the community in North Miami!

You are ALL amazing! What an awesome thing to be a part of something so much bigger than ourselves. Im proud of the church family that God has blessed my father to serve. The selflessness and community that you guys are portraying is something that I can only hope and pray for at my church up here in NYC. This is exactly what God intended the church to be, and how the book of Acts displays it. Way to go guys (and girls) : )
I’m with Corey…when the family of God gets together and shares in each others pains, supports each other, believes/helps each other…it’s a beautiful thing. I’m so very proud to be apart of a church family that truly ACTS like family. To know that God is in the midst of all we’ve accomplished, is the reason we’re doing what we’re doing, and will always be our reason for chasing lions…it truly is inspiring.

Helping to renovate NoMi has been an honor. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves so much and we were so over whelmed with how many people were there that we cannot express how wonderful it felt to be a part of such an amazing project. Pastor Guy, you should be a motivational speaker. My husband is not a Christian and very rarely attends church with me, but this Sunday he decided he was going to go with me. The lord works in mysterious ways! Well, that Sunday before the week of renovations was to begin, when you started addressing the church at the 10:00 am service and became so overcomed with emotions, you reached a part in my husband that I have not been able to reach. The lord brought him there so that you may touch his heart. My husband that day was moved and he committed to go and give of his time for the wonderful project. Thank you. He was amazed to see how so many gave of their time. He got a new perspective and understanding of what a church family is and how much it is valued. Thank you for that! I pray for the completion of the NoMi project and pray for our church to reach as many people as we can in the community of North Miami. God Bless!

You have blessed my heart. I just got back from Painting at NOMI and folks just keep coming. It was great to see you and your husband there. Ill be praying. It is a priviledge to serve.
God bless you
Guy
P.S. Corey, and Warren, you guys are awesome. Thanks for your comments. God bless you both as you chase your lions.
I feel blessed by the out pouring of the church family that is putting so much into the NoMi project. I was there on Saturday, I wasn’t crazy about going but I thought I would support my group by showing up, and quite honestly if I wasn’t committed to attending a wedding that same day I would surely have spent the entire day. I wasn’t tired I was refreshed. Awesome
My husband has been going down to Miami every day except last Saturday, when he had a prior commitment. He isn’t getting any younger(!), and comes home kind of limping every night. Wednesday night he didn’t get home until 9:00 PM. When I asked him if he was going to stay home Thursday to recuperate, he said, “No, I can’t…there’s just so much to do”! He is driven to do what he can to be a part of the team and finish the job which still seems SO BIG. He, too, is so impressed with the heart of commitment he sees in people like Alex and Suzie, and the leadership they display.
