Woman to Woman Mentoring Coffee

As our Women’s Ministry prepares to announce our new Woman to Woman Mentoring Ministry church-wide, we’re doing a revised session to make sure that we’re all set. Last Wednesday night we kicked off our first training session for our mentors and had the mentees join them at the end of their training to meet their partners for the next three months. We have 32 women participating and it was exciting to see God make 16 matches, as we had a special Prayer Day Team to ask Him to do the matching.

What a fun time to experience them meeting each other for the first time and hearing their stories. Some had already felt God would match them with the person they’d prayed for! It was such a blessing to see our women connecting with other women in a brand new mentoring relationship for the very first time.

If you’re interested in being in a one on one, spiritually older mentoring a spiritually younger woman, plan to attend our next Orientation Coffee on May 18 at Oasis Church, Pines campus, from 3 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. You must arrive on time and be able to attend the Kick Off night, Wednesday, May 28 to participate in our next session! It will be a six month commitment and all your thoughts and questions will be answered at the coffee.
