We need your help!
As you know, our caribbean neighbors are on high alert as they prepare for Hurricane Matthew. Our Haitian family is expecting what most meteorologists are calling a catastrophic hit from this category 4 storm. The most vulnerable and poorest people in the Western hemisphere of Haiti are most likely to bear the brunt of this unforgiving force of nature as they're promised to get anywhere from 10-40+ inches of rain with winds at 140 miles per hour. This area is not far from where 25 of us ministered just last month on our medical mission trip. Some of the places we visited required us to cross 12 different rivers and streams in our vehicles to get to the mountains. These areas could be totally flooded and destroyed. We cannot fathom what the people there will be facing in the days ahead!
We do not know where help will be most needed, it may be in multiple islands, but we plan to be prepared to assist in any way we can. Our Bike for Haiti funds will help us to begin to immediately send monies for life-saving basic necessities in the early days of the mounting crisis just hours away in Haiti.
If you are already giving to Bike for Haiti and are able to give more or give more of your pledge now, please do so. If you can also give to our other Caribbean neighbors affected by this hurricane, please do so. Even if you have never given to this mission, now is the time to do your part to help. Every bit counts!

This Week's Update... A Recap of Bike for Haiti 2016
It's been a short 63 days since our Pastor Guy left South Florida for San Diego to begin his Bike for Haiti Ride. There was so much to think about as he obediently began this journey, his safety, his health but most of all, his calling. Many have been asked, "Why Haiti?" And we all say, "Why not?" We've made a commitment to our brothers and sisters there and we are sticking to it! See a snippet of this amazing journey above and BE INSPIRED!
Bike for Haiti - The CONCLUSION
On Saturday July 3rd, Oasis Church took Charnow Park by storm to welcome our Pastor, Guy Melton, home from his cross country Bike for Haiti Ride. We moved our regular Saturday services to Hollywood Beach to witness our Pastor, and 25 other members of our congregation, conclude the last 25 miles of Bike for Haiti 2016. We also had a special guest, our local WSVN Channel 7 News covering this event to find out about the heartbeat behind this mission. Check out the interview below!
What is Bike for Haiti?

- 24.7% of Haitians live on less than $1 per day
- $100 will pay for 1 child's education plus 1 meal a day, for a year
