Each week we discuss Prayer and how we as Prayer Partners can all grow in our Prayer Life. We have discussed hundreds of Prayers in the Bible over these many years. Today I want to call attention to a very powerful prayer that David prayed to God in the wake of his adultery with Bathsheba.
In Psalms 51, David gives a very passionate prayer of not only asking God’s mercy, pleading for a pure heart and restoration, but also acknowledging His power, holiness and great compassion.
I encourage you to read the entire chapter and then meditate on it. It is not long. It has so much that can be instructive to us today, not only in how to respond when we fail, but also to acknowledge the very power, love and holiness of God in our lives.
God bless you and have a great week!
